At Seams Unique Designs, that story begins in El Paso, where our founder was raised by her great-grandparents-resilient survivors of the Great Depression who embodied strength, resourcefulnes, and creativity. It was there, under the careful guidance of her great-grandmother, that she first learned the timeless art of sewing and crochet.

Though her path led her to Prairie View A&M University, where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, the thread of creativity continued to weave through her life. Shortly after graduating, she discovered a passion for quilting—a passion that has grown into decades of artistry and design.

For over twenty years, alongside her cherished roles as wife and mother of three, she has poured her heart into creating pieces that are more than fabric and thread—they are heirlooms, symbols of tradition, and celebrations of individuality.
